14 cm skirting board

A 14 cm skirting board is a wide polyurethane edge profile, about 14 centimetres tall, fitted where the wall meets the floor. In large, high-ceilinged spaces such as living rooms, lobbies and offices it forms a pronounced, balanced profile at the base of the wall. It closes the joint between the floor covering and the wall and protects the wall base from impacts. Polyurethane is light and resists moisture and impact; unlike its timber counterpart it will not swell or rot in damp and bonds directly to the wall with mounting adhesive. The smooth surface can be painted. Because it is mould-cast, the same cross-section repeats on every piece. Polure produces the 14 cm skirting board in standard lengths and various profiles.
