96 cm ceiling rose

A 96 cm ceiling rose is a circular decorative polyurethane element about 96 centimetres in diameter, fitted to the centre of the ceiling. It surrounds the connection point of a chandelier or light fitting to form an ornate focal point at the centre of the ceiling, and is used in living rooms, dining rooms and reception areas. Its surface carries relief motifs and border detailing. Polyurethane is light, which makes ceiling installation easier. It resists moisture and impact, and unlike a plaster ceiling rose it does not crack or break and bonds directly to the ceiling with mounting adhesive; it can be supported with screws if needed.
