An acanthus motif corbel is a polyurethane bracket element decorated with an acanthus leaf motif that gives the look of a decorative support. It is used as a classic ornamental support element at the wall-to-ceiling junction, under shelves or at beam ends. The polyurethane material is lightweight; it is fixed directly to the surface with assembly adhesive. It resists moisture and impact, does not crack, blister or peel, and can be painted. It is generally decorative; compared with wood it is not attacked by insects and does not deform in humid conditions.
