Acanthus leaf decor is a polyurethane ornamental element inspired by the curved leaf form of the acanthus plant used in classical architecture. It is applied to ceilings, walls, cornice corners and column capitals as a classical decorative feature. The polyurethane material is lightweight and bonds directly to the surface with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, blister or warp, and can be painted any colour. Being lighter than its plaster equivalent, it can be carried by one person and installed quickly. Because it is cast in moulds, the leaf veins and curves repeat identically on every piece.
