Acanthus leaf motif is a polyurethane decorative pattern inspired by the curved leaf form of the acanthus plant. It is used as a classical ornamental pattern on column capitals, corbels, cornice corners and medallion centres. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied directly with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, blister or warp, and can be painted. Being lighter than its plaster equivalent, it is easy to carry and install. Since it is cast in moulds, the motif details repeat exactly on every piece.
