acanthus leaf bracket

The acanthus leaf bracket is a polyurethane decorative support element worked with acanthus leaf decoration. It is used beneath cornices, shelves and projections as ornamentation that gives a load-bearing appearance. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied directly with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, blister or warp, and can be painted. Being much lighter than a wood or stone bracket, it puts no load on the wall and installs quickly. Since it is cast in moulds, the leaf curves are identical on every piece.
