The acanthus leaf column capital is a polyurethane column capital worked with acanthus leaf decoration. Fitted to the top of a column or pilaster, it is used as a finishing element in classical architecture. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, blister or warp, and can be painted.
