acanthus leaf column

The acanthus leaf column is a polyurethane decorative column whose shaft or capital is worked with acanthus leaf decoration. It is used indoors and outdoors as a classical architectural element with a load-bearing appearance. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, blister or warp, and can be painted. Being much lighter than a stone or plaster column, it is easy to carry and install. Since it is cast in moulds, the leaf details and shaft proportions are identical on every piece.
