acanthus leaf crest

The acanthus leaf crest is a polyurethane crest (top finishing) element worked with acanthus leaf decoration. It is used along the top edge of doors, windows, cabinets and wall panels as a finishing and accent ornament. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied directly with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, blister or warp, and can be painted. Being lighter than a wood or plaster crest, it is easy to install and sits neatly on the top edge. Since it is cast in moulds, the leaf details repeat identically on every piece.
