Under-Chandelier Medallion
An under-chandelier medallion is a round or oval polyurethane ceiling medallion placed at the point where a chandelier hangs from the ceiling. It frames the area where the chandelier meets the ceiling and accents the central point of the room. Polyurethane is lightweight, so a single person can apply it directly to the ceiling with mounting adhesive. It resists moisture and impact, does not crack, blister or peel, and can be painted. Being lighter than a plaster medallion it adds no extra load to the ceiling and fits quickly. As it is mould-cast, the relief patterns repeat with the same clarity on every piece. Polure produces the under-chandelier medallion in a range of diameters and patterns.
