Under-Chandelier Dome

An under-chandelier dome is a concave dome-shaped polyurethane ceiling decoration placed at the centre of the ceiling. It is designed to enclose the chandelier and creates a sense of depth in the ceiling. Polyurethane is lightweight and is applied directly to the ceiling with mounting adhesive. It resists moisture and impact, does not crack, blister or peel, and can be painted; its inner surface can also be used for concealed lighting. Being lighter than a plaster dome it adds no load to the ceiling and fits quickly. As it is mould-cast, the pattern detail repeats the same on every piece.
