Mirror Crown
A mirror crown is a relief polyurethane decorative crown piece placed along the top edge of a mirror. It crowns the upper frame of the mirror and gives it a classic look. Polyurethane is lightweight and is applied directly to the wall or frame above the mirror with mounting adhesive. It resists moisture and impact, does not crack, blister or peel, and can be painted; it can be finished in gold leaf or any desired colour. Being lighter than its wooden equivalent it adds no load to the wall and is practical to fit. Being mould-cast, the relief motifs repeat the same on every piece. Polure produces mirror crowns in a range of widths and motifs.
