Baluster Top Rail

A baluster top rail is a polyurethane profile piece placed over a baluster row that joins the balusters from above and gives the railing a handrail surface. It forms the top line of the row and completes the railing. Polyurethane is lightweight; it is applied with mounting adhesive and is easy to transport. It resists moisture and impact, does not crack, blister or peel, and can be painted; it adapts to outdoor conditions. Being lighter than stone or concrete it adds no extra load to the structure. Being mould-cast, the profile cross-section repeats the same on every piece. Polure produces baluster top rails in a range of widths and lengths.
