An under-balcony ornamental element is the polyurethane decorative facade piece applied beneath a balcony or projection. On the facade it dresses the underside of the balcony, giving the structure a classic look with details such as consoles, brackets and mouldings. Polyurethane is lightweight and applied with construction adhesive and screws where needed; outdoors it resists moisture and impact, will not crack, blister or warp, and takes paint well. Being lighter than stone or concrete, facade fitting at height becomes easier and it adds no extra load to the structure. Since it is moulded, details repeat identically on every piece.
