balcony support element

A balcony support element is the general name for polyurethane profile and bracket pieces that carry or visually support building parts such as a balcony railing, rail or eave. It is used beneath the railing, along the balcony fascia line or at eave corners for both load-bearing and decorative purposes. A polyurethane support element is lightweight, which makes installation easier at high points; it resists moisture and outdoor conditions, does not crack or swell, and can be painted. Because it is mould-cast, the profile details repeat identically on every piece. Installation is done with a suitable adhesive and, where needed, a mechanical connection.
