baroque console

A baroque console is a polyurethane support and shelf element that projects out from the wall, carrying the curved and embossed ornamentation of the baroque style. It is used on a wall as support beneath a shelf, statue or bust, or for visual emphasis. A polyurethane baroque console is lightweight, which makes installation easier; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and can be painted, and it is also suitable for gold gilding and patina application. Because it is mould-cast, the scroll and relief details repeat identically on every piece. Installation is done with a suitable adhesive and, where needed, dowel support.
