Boiserie wall panelling is the process of dividing the wall surface into panels and cladding it with polyurethane mouldings and profiles. The wall is separated into rectangular and square panel sections to achieve a classic cladding appearance; this method gives a painted wall a framed layout. Polyurethane is lightweight and is applied directly to the wall with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, will not crack or blister and can be painted. Thanks to its lighter, moisture-proof structure compared with wood panelling, installation is quick and no extra support framing is needed.
