Paintable wainscoting is a polyurethane wall cladding panel produced with a paint-accepting surface that covers the lower or full surface of walls. It is used on living room, corridor, dining room and office walls as a classic or flat-looking cladding. The polyurethane material is lightweight and is applied directly to the wall with assembly adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted any colour. Unlike wood panelling it is unaffected by moisture, does not rot and does not warp; therefore it can also be used in damp environments. Because it is mould-cast, the panel pattern repeats identically on every piece and provides pattern continuity across wide walls.
