paintable window and door surround

A paintable surround is a polyurethane decorative profile produced with a paint-accepting surface that frames the edges of doors and windows. On interior and exterior facades it is used to surround door and window openings, forming an architectural frame. The polyurethane material is lightweight and is applied directly to the surface with assembly adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted any colour. Because it is unaffected by water and moisture on facades, it lasts longer than wood and plaster surrounds; being lightweight makes high-level installation easier. Because it is mould-cast, the same section and pattern are kept along the entire surround profile. Once painted, it gives a framing effect matching the facade or wall colour.
