paintable ceiling medallion
A paintable ceiling medallion is a round or oval polyurethane decorative element, with a paint-ready surface, applied to the central part of the ceiling around a light fitting. It is used in living rooms, dining rooms and entrance halls to highlight the centre of a chandelier or pendant light. The polyurethane material is light and fixes directly to the ceiling with assembly adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or blister, and can be painted any colour. Being far lighter than a plaster medallion, it adds no load to the ceiling and is easy to install. As it is mould-produced, the relief patterns repeat crisply and identically on every piece. Polure produces paintable ceiling medallions in a range of diameters and patterns.
