twisted column cover

A twisted column cover is a polyurethane cladding element in two half-parts, used to wrap an existing column or structural post with a spiral-shaft decorative surface. It is applied indoors and outdoors to conceal existing structural columns and give them a classical appearance. The polyurethane material is light and fixes around the column with assembly adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or blister, and can be painted any colour. Because it is made in two halves, it slips around the existing column without removing it, which speeds up installation. As the twist pattern is mould-produced, the spiral lines repeat identically on every piece. Polure produces the twisted column cover in a range of inner diameters.
