large cornice moulding

A large cornice moulding is a polyurethane decorative profile produced in wide cross-section dimensions, applied at the ceiling-wall joint. It is used in high-ceilinged living rooms, large hallways and formal spaces to emphasise the ceiling-wall transition and create a concealed lighting bed. The polyurethane material is light and fixes directly to the joint line with assembly adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or blister, and can be painted any colour. Being far lighter than a plaster cornice, despite its wide cross-section it adds no load to the ceiling and installs quickly. As it is mould-produced, the profile cross-section stays identical on every piece and the joints line up cleanly. Polure produces the large cornice moulding in a range of widths and patterns.
