Large cornice moulding models are the different profile and pattern variants of wide-section polyurethane ceiling borders applied to the ceiling-wall joint. Flat, stepped, embossed, and concealed-light-channel models are available; they are used in high-ceilinged halls and lobbies to choose a profile suited to the space. Because polyurethane is light, even large-section models apply quickly to the ceiling with mounting adhesive and need no on-site casting. They resist moisture and impact, do not crack or blister, and are paintable. Concealed-light models provide a channel suited to indirect lighting.
