Large cornice moulding is a wide-section, high-profile polyurethane ceiling border applied to the joint line between ceiling and wall. It is used in high-ceilinged halls and lobbies, where a thin cornice looks out of proportion, to frame the ceiling-wall transition distinctly. Because polyurethane is light, even large-section profiles apply quickly to the ceiling with mounting adhesive; unlike traditional plaster cornice, it needs no on-site casting and installs dry and clean. It resists moisture and impact, does not crack or blister, and is paintable. As it is mould-produced, the profile section and ornament repeat identically on every piece, and corner joints fit neatly.
