double-headed eagle relief

A double-headed eagle relief is a polyurethane decorative element in which an eagle figure facing two directions is worked in relief. It is used as a decorative and symbolic element on facade pediments, over-door panels and classical interior walls. Polyurethane is lightweight and is applied directly to the surface with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or warp, and is paintable. Because it is mould-cast, the wing and feather details come out with the same clarity on every piece; it is far lighter than stone or plaster equivalents and easy to install.
