A decorative ceiling rosette is a small-diameter polyurethane ceiling ornament that conceals and frames the point where the chandelier cable enters the ceiling. It provides a smaller, simpler frame than a ceiling rose; it is used on living room, hall and bedroom ceilings. The polyurethane material is lightweight and fixes directly to the ceiling with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell, or warp, and can be painted. Being lightweight, installation is practical and needs no additional support on the ceiling. As it is mould-cast, the surface details repeat identically on every piece.
