decorative block

A decorative block is a polyurethane ornamental element used to give a corner stone (quoin) or rustication look on a wall or façade surface. It is applied on façades to make corners and window edges look like stone blocks. The polyurethane material is lightweight and fixes directly to the surface with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell, or warp, and can be painted with exterior paint. Being far lighter than a real stone block, it adds no extra load to the façade and installation is quick. As it is mould-cast, the block form and texture come out the same on every piece. Polure produces decorative block elements in a range of sizes and textures.
