A decorative wall rosette is a relief polyurethane ornamental element, usually circular and symmetrical, applied to a wall surface. It is used to create a focal point on the wall or to emphasise the centre of a panel. Polyurethane is lightweight; it is applied directly to the wall with mounting adhesive and needs no additional fixing. It resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell and can be painted. It is lighter than plaster or wood equivalents, installs faster and carries a low risk of breakage in transport. Because it is cast in a mould, the pattern detail repeats identically on every piece.
