decorative column cap

A decorative column cap is a polyurethane element that sits at the very top of a column and defines the finish between the shaft and the ceiling. It is used as the final piece above the column capital or in place of a capital; it provides the upper finish of a column set in living rooms, entrances and facades. The polyurethane material is light and is applied to the top of the column with assembly adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted. Being lighter than stone and plaster alternatives, it is easy to install at height. Because it is mould-cast, the profile details repeat identically across every piece. Polure produces the decorative column cap in a range of diameter and profile options.
