decorative panelling batten
A decorative panelling batten is a slim polyurethane profile element that divides or frames wall panels. It is used to create a panel layout on a wall surface, separate panels and frame transition points. The polyurethane batten is lightweight and is applied directly to the wall with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and can be painted. Unlike a wooden batten, it is unaffected by moisture and does not warp. Because it is mould-produced, the same profile repeats along the length of the batten, giving an aligned panel layout. Polure manufactures decorative panelling battens in a range of widths and cross-sections.
