Decorative Niche

A decorative niche is a recessed polyurethane decoration element set into or mounted onto a wall, designed to hold an object, sculpture or light fitting. It is used on living room, hallway and bedroom walls to create a focal point and to display decorative objects. The polyurethane niche is light and is fixed to the wall with assembly adhesive and screws; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or blister and can be painted. Compared with a plaster equivalent it is lighter and more break-resistant, and it is easy to handle and install. Because it is moulded, the edge and curve details stay the same on every piece. Polure produces decorative niche models in a range of sizes and forms.
