A decorative object is a polyurethane ornamental piece made to be displayed on a wall, shelf or console. It is used in interiors to add detail to surfaces and create a focal point, either on its own or together with a niche or panel. The polyurethane material is light and is fixed with assembly adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or blister and can be painted. Compared with a plaster or ceramic equivalent it is lighter and more break-resistant, and it is easy to handle. Because it is moulded, the surface and form details repeat identically on every piece. Polure produces decorative objects in a range of sizes and forms.
