decorative architrave

A decorative architrave is a polyurethane profile that frames the edges of door and window openings. Applied around door and window edges, it covers the joint between the wall and the frame and forms a border around the opening. Polyurethane is lightweight and applied directly with construction adhesive; unlike a wooden architrave it is unaffected by moisture and installs faster. It resists moisture and impact, does not crack or blister, and can be painted. Because it is moulded, the profile cross-section repeats identically on every piece and the corner joints align cleanly.
