decorative spiral column

A decorative spiral column is a polyurethane decorative column with a helically fluted body that turns in a twist shape. It is used in entrances, living rooms, hallways and façades to clad load-bearing columns or to give a twisted appearance as a free-standing decorative element; it is usually applied together with a capital and base. The polyurethane material is light and sets easily with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and takes paint. Being far lighter than stone or concrete, it is easy to carry and install, holds no water and keeps its shape. Because it is mould-cast, the spiral detailing repeats identically on every piece.
