decorative ceiling band

A decorative ceiling band is a slim profiled polyurethane strip element used to create a straight line or frame on the ceiling surface. It is applied to divide the ceiling into sections, frame the area around a rose, or give a coffered look. On flat ceilings it is glued directly to the ceiling to create a decorative line. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or blister, and can be painted. Being lighter than a plaster equivalent, it adds no load to the ceiling and installs quickly. As it is mould-cast, the profile cross-section repeats identically on every piece and corner joints match neatly. Polure produces the decorative ceiling band in a range of widths and patterns.
