decorative ceiling edge

A decorative ceiling edge is a polyurethane edge element that outlines the perimeter of the ceiling and frames the junction with the wall. It is used to define the outer boundary of the ceiling, soften the corner, and give the ceiling-to-wall transition a decorative finish. Serving the same function as a cornice and border, it is applied all along the ceiling perimeter. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied directly to the ceiling with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or blister, and can be painted. Being lighter than a plaster equivalent, it adds no load to the ceiling and installs quickly. As it is mould-cast, the profile cross-section repeats identically on every piece and joins neatly at corners. Polure produces the decorative ceiling edge in a range of widths and patterns.
