patterned wall moulding strip
A patterned wall moulding strip is a polyurethane chair-rail profile that creates a horizontal line on a wall, with a shaped cross-section and a decorative pattern on its surface. Indoors it is used to divide a wall, to form a transition line between an upper background and a lower covering, and to accent the surface with shadow. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied directly with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, will not crack, swell or peel, and can be painted. It is more resistant to breakage than a plaster rail and, unlike wood, is unaffected by moisture. Because it is moulded, the cross-section and pattern are identical in every piece. Polure produces the patterned wall moulding strip in a range of cross-sections and patterns.
