patterned wall column
A patterned wall column is a polyurethane half-column or pilaster element applied flush against a wall, with a decorative pattern on its surface. It is used indoors and outdoors as a vertical accent on a wall, a niche divider and detailing around doors and windows. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied directly with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, will not crack, swell or peel, and can be painted. Unlike its wooden and plaster counterparts it is unaffected by moisture, and being light it is easy to install on tall walls. The shaft, capital and base pieces are brought together with matching dimensions. Because it is moulded, the pattern repeats identically in every piece. Polure produces the patterned wall column in a range of diameters and heights.
