A patterned corner ornament is a relief-patterned polyurethane decorative piece added to wall or ceiling corners. It is used as a decorative element at frame and panel corners and ceiling joints to accent corners. It is common in classical and neoclassical interiors. The polyurethane material is lightweight and goes on directly with assembly adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, peel or warp, and can be painted. As a ready-made piece, installation is fast and it can be painted to match the wall colour. Because the relief is mould-formed, the same motif repeats on every piece.
