exterior facade band moulding

An exterior facade band moulding is a polyurethane profile that forms a horizontal moulding line on a building facade and emphasises the floor division and window sill band. It is applied as a band running along the facade and gives the surface a shadow line and depth. The polyurethane material is lightweight and is fixed directly with facade adhesive; it resists moisture, frost and UV exposure, does not crack or swell and can be painted with exterior facade paint. Compared with plaster and stone equivalents it adds no extra load to the facade, and handling and installation are fast. Polure produces the exterior facade band moulding in different sections and sizes using moulds, so the profile section repeats identically along the facade.
