exterior facade support element

An exterior facade support element is a polyurethane decorative element with a load-bearing appearance, placed beneath projecting decorative facade parts (cornices, sills, balconies, eaves). Shaped as a console, bracket or corbel, it is applied to the facade so that it appears to support the projection. The polyurethane material is lightweight and is fixed to the facade with mounting adhesive and mechanical fasteners. It resists moisture, rain and sun; it does not crack, blister or rot and can be painted with exterior facade paint. Being far lighter than stone or concrete, it adds no extra load to the facade and makes high-level installation easier; compared with wood it does not absorb moisture. Because it is mould-produced, every support element repeats in the same size and detail. Polure produces exterior facade support elements in different models and sizes.
