An exterior facade relief ornament is a polyurethane decorative element with a three-dimensional motif or pattern that rises from the surface of a building's outer wall. It is used around windows, between floors and in entrance areas to create a light-and-shadow effect and depth on the facade. The polyurethane material is lightweight and is applied directly to the facade with mounting adhesive. It resists moisture, rain and UV; it does not crack, blister or rot and can be painted with exterior facade paint. Compared with plaster relief it does not break or absorb moisture, and it is far lighter than stone, so it adds no load to the facade.
