exterior facade coving

Exterior facade coving is a polyurethane profiled border element applied at wall-to-eave or floor transitions on a building's outer facade. It is used to create a horizontal line on the facade and emphasise transition zones. The polyurethane material is lightweight and is fixed to the facade with mounting adhesive and mechanical fasteners. It resists moisture, rain and UV; it does not crack, blister or rot and can be painted with exterior facade paint. Compared with plaster coving it does not absorb moisture or break outdoors, and it is far lighter than stone, so high-level installation is easier. Because it is mould-produced, the profile cross-section continues the same along its full length and there is no line misalignment at joints.
