An exterior window ornament is a polyurethane decorative element or molding applied around a window. It is placed as a crown above the window, a surround on the edges, or ornamentation at the corners, and it emphasizes the opening on the facade. Polyurethane is lightweight and resists moisture, frost and sunlight; it does not crack or swell and can be painted with exterior facade paint. Because it is lighter than stone or concrete, it is easy to install on tall facades and adds little load to the wall. Since it is mold-cast, the motif details repeat identically on every piece.
