Exterior facade eaves trim is a polyurethane decorative element used along the roof eaves line. It is applied beneath and along the eaves with forms such as cornices, corbels and dentil rows to define the upper edge of the facade. The polyurethane material is lightweight and is easily fitted with construction adhesive and screws; it resists moisture, frost and impact, does not absorb water, crack or blister. It can be painted with exterior facade paint. Unlike a timber equivalent it does not rot and needs no maintenance, and it is lighter than plaster.
