Exterior facade ornaments is the general term for decorative polyurethane pieces applied to the outside of a building, such as trims, cornices, columns, sills and medallions. They are used around windows, along floor bands, under eaves and at entrance areas. The polyurethane material is lightweight, so it is applied with mounting adhesive without adding load to the facade. It resists moisture, sun and temperature swings; it does not crack or blister and can be painted with exterior facade paint. Being lighter than stone or concrete makes the work easier on upper floors. Because they are mould-cast, the surface pattern and dimensions are the same on every piece.
