wall framing

Wall framing is the application of creating rectangular or square frames on a wall surface with polyurethane mouldings and corner elements. To give a panel effect on wide walls, emphasise specific areas or divide the surface into ordered sections, mouldings are joined in horizontal and vertical lines. Polyurethane is lightweight and applies directly to the wall with construction adhesive; corners are joined with mitred cuts or ready-made corner pieces. It resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell and can be painted in any colour. Being lighter than wood and plaster makes installing long moulding runs on wide walls easier. Cast from moulds, the moulding profile is the same along its length, ensuring continuity in the frames. Polure manufactures the moulding and corner products used in wall framing.
