wall trim motif

A wall trim motif is the relief pattern and ornamentation found on the surface of polyurethane wall trim. Unlike plain trim, it carries classic repeating motifs along its length such as bead, egg-and-dart or fluting. It is used on living room and bedroom walls to accent panel edges and frame borders. The polyurethane material is lightweight and bonds straight to the wall with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, will not crack or swell and takes paint well. Because it is mould-cast, the motif detail stays crisp and repeats identically on every piece; it is more economical than carved wood and lighter than plaster.
