Wall panelling components is the collective name for the polyurethane decorative pieces used to clad a wall surface with bays, frames and profiles. They are applied in living rooms, hallways, bedrooms and reception areas to turn a flat surface into a panelled look. Trim profiles, corner motifs and flat panels are typically used together. The polyurethane material is lightweight and fixes directly to the wall with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted. Compared with timber panelling it does not absorb moisture or swell, it is less brittle than plaster and faster to install. Because the pieces are mould-cast, profile and motif dimensions repeat identically on every part, which makes aligning the panel layout easier.
