wall separator

A wall separator is a polyurethane decorative partition element placed on a wall or in an open area that visually divides a space without fully closing it. Produced as an open-pattern panel or lattice form, it partly lets light and sight pass through. It is used to define areas between a living room and dining area, in an entrance hall or in front of a reception. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied with mounting adhesive and mechanical fixing; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted. Because the open patterns are mould-cast, the motif repeat is even and symmetrical. Unlike timber it does not swell in moisture, and it is lighter than plaster.
